picture this....

Lately I have really been getting into photography. Its this hobby I have. I like to take pictures and edit them . This isn't like ooh lets take tones of drunken pictures of me and my friends and put them on myspace or facebook. I take this seriously. It is something I really like. I am trying to get better at this so that when I am in California maybe I can put my skills to use to help make some extra cash since I will be extra BROKE.

My boyfriend knows how much I love photography and taking pictures and editing them , so one day we were freshening up and he told me he wanted to get me a gift . I asked what kind of gift and he said just a gift and I had to ask once more what kind? He told me wants to get me a digital camera. The one I have is nice but the one he wants to get me would be even better and pricey. I told him he doesn't have to do that for me because I like the fact that he doesn't spend allot of money on me but I do secretly hope he gets me the camera because I love capturing the beauty in the world around me.

More of some of my work.

Taken at home in my back yard The date is messed up because I couldnt figure out how to change the date settings on my camera.

The top flower picture was taken at home they are my mothers flowers and the bottem was taken at school before school was out. Once again same problem with the date.

Wow, those are really good! You have a good eye for photography. :)

I take pictures once in a while too. You can check them out on my Flickr site if you like.

If you've never been to Flickr, you might want to explore it a bit. There are some really awesome photographers on there. A fellow blogger here (Lastexit) takes unbelievable pictures there. Here's her page:

Also, 'Picture This' (the title of this post) is a really good book by Joseph Heller. It's sort of a historically fictional account of Rembrant's later life. Not one of Heller's best, but it was good nonetheless!
